Etsy Shop: Baby Doll's Skin Care

What will I find in your shop?
You will find All Natural Skin Care. Made from the Heart One by One.

How did your shop start?

I was talking about my products I made on Facebook and several people guided me to check out Etsy.

What is your favorite item?

I love my Spritzer. It's the most product used in the Spring and Summer. It's great to clean my face and neck, it's great to keep me cooled off and when the bugs are biting me I spray my Spritzer all over me. It does help keep those nasty bugs off. I love bringing my Spritzer with me on those hot days. Being out all day in the heat, it's nice to know that my spritzer is there in a cooler waiting for me to Spritz myself off. I usually keep cotton balls in my car and clean my face and neck with it. It makes me feel good as new on those hot sticky days.

What is your favorite shop?

I can't really choose which shop is my most favorite. So many people out there are willing to lend a hand and are very helpful towards one another. I have several favorite shops on my page and can not decide.

Etsy Shop: Stitchin'netka

What will I find in your shop? All the products in my shop are designed and handmade by me. I love sewing and working with fabrics, and most of all I love to create for kids.Currently, you'll find birthday banners made from a great selection of printed fabric, bags made with eco-felt, notebook set with really cute pencils, headbands and bean bag sets. I enjoy working on custom, personalized projects. There is more interaction with my customer and I feel like connecting with a client brings more meaning to my work. I'm finishing up a few new projects...so there will be more items showing up in my store. I'm really looking forward expanding my collection. It is very exciting to watch the shop grow.
How did you come about opening your shop?I have been making all sorts of kid related items since I had my first baby, that was 10 years now. I made many banners , bags, blankets, clothing etc. through out out those years, mainly as gifts for friends and family. I always got great feedback about my work and after years of encouragement, finally I decided to open my Etsy shop. It is much easier to concentrate on my work now, since my kids are getting a little older. And they are very excited for my work, and so happy to know that there are kids out there that will enjoy my creations. Besides that, I love the idea of being able to grow an independent business and make something with your own hands is very rewarding
What is your favorite item in your shop? That is a difficult one, I love them all. Each item that I have created has a special place in my heart. However, if I had to choose the notebook set with hand made felt cover and pencils would be at the top of my list. That was a popular design among kids for a very long time, I want one...I'm going to make one just for me. I love the simplicity and vibrant design, as well as practicality of it.

My second favorite would be the banners. I love playing with different prints and putting them together into one holistic expression. All the banners in my store were created for birthdays of my children and/or cousins, so they have their very own personality.

Also I really like the recently added Fabric Wish Flags Kit / Inspirational Banner Kit . Every flag on this banner has a space to be filled with wishes, manifestations, blessings. So at the end it is a truly custom product that has a special meaning.

What is your favorite Etsy shop?I love them all...can I say that? Etsy is overloaded with amazing artists and crafters, there is so much inspiration at your finger clicks, it's truly amazing how many creative people you'll find in one place. I have a long list of favorite shops and these would among the top www.etsy.com/shop/dadayawww.etsy.com/shop/Grazim and www.etsy.com/shop/sabinar, but there is way more then that...

Etsy Shop: Bebe Beso

What will you find in my shop? You will find accessories for kids. Mostly hair bows, ribbon socks, tees and belts and for the little guys, I have neckties and bow ties. I have recently added tutus, which was my main reason for opening a store. And I hope to expand my line to include pillowcase dresses and bloomers as soon as I can invest in a serger. I do them right now for friends and family, but I use French seams and it takes me way too long to make them this way.

How did I come about opening my shop?Well, for my oldest daughter's first birthday, I made her a tutu and a matching shirt. It was very basic, but everyone loved it. Then when my youngest turned a year old, I made her a tutu and shirt as well, but stepped up my game a little bit. It was so cute and I got so much positive feedback. One of my husbands aunts told me I should make a sell them. That opened up a whole world to me. Why hadn't I thought of this before? At first, I went a little nuts. I would see something, make it and list it. Then I would see something else, make it and list it. I was all over the place, but I was just trying to find my niche-see what I was good at. Now I'm in the process of focusing and building a little bit of inventory. I still see things that I want to try my hand at, but my husband is good at keeping me on the path. It has really helped my shop!

What is my favorite item? I love them all! But I think I have the most fun with the pretty tutus. They are so fun and fluffy. My little gals love running around in them! They can be very elegant or casual, depending on what you want it to be.

What is my fav shop?I love them all-there are so many talented people out there! I really love olgaitaly (The French Market Stitch). I find myself visiting her page often and admiring her style and creativity. I absolutely love the burlesque style and her hair clips are to die for!

Etsy Shop: Ink Print Letterpress

What will I find in your shop?
At Inkprint you will find letterpress stationery for different occasions. We are currently working on a new spring line that are bold, bright and colorful designs. We also accept custom work requests.

How did your shop start?

For Valentine's I had several cards I wanted to sell, everyone in Letterpress work knows about Etsy, so they all told me to check out Etsy. It seemed to fit with everything I am and my work fit perfectly. Opening an Etsy shop was just the natural way to go.

What is your favorite item?

My favorite item so far is the Easter Eggs card. I had so much fun printing them and they seem to be doing really well.

What is your favorite Etsy shop?

Having one favorite shop on Etsy is like having one favorite star. But, if I HAD to choose one, it would be Suite One Studio www.etsy.com/shop/SuiteOneStudio?ref=seller_info
And my favorite item from their shop is www.etsy.com/listing/68845914/leaning-towards-the-sun-porcelain-vase

Etsy Shop: Miama Creazioni

What will I find in your shop? In my shop you can find Italian handmade jewelry, particular style, but so easy to wear, with a simple shirt or a evening dress. I think it’s nice to have a necklace or bracelet, handmade, fashion, in limited production (so you know that few people in the world we’ll have it) without spending a lot of money. I love to use chains, crystal beads, hand-wrapped wire and a particular way to work the polymer clay to have an effect of rock stones, using gold or silver leaf or acrylic colors.

How did you come about opening your shop? Before deciding to be a full time mom, I was the Customer Service Manager in an Italian company producing shoes and bags handmade, and I was fascinating by the artisans making the products by hand. So I decided to learn how to make jewelry, just to star, and I discover a wonderful world together with Etsy shop. This allows me to have a showcase in the world and to be in touch with people in every country and ... this is amazing!

What is your favorite item in your shop? My favorite is the Etnic gold slave bracelet as it is the first bracelet I made.
What is your favorite Etsy shop? There are some many beautiful shops, and I think I discovered just a little part, but at the moment I lovewww.etsy.com/shop/idea2lifestyle and www.etsy.com/shop/iampAmm

Etsy Shop: Paper Pearls Jewelry

What will I find in your shop?I design and create one of a kind jewelry out of upcycled cardboard. The cardboard comes from state testing booklets in public schools (I’m a teacher) and when I realized that it was being thrown away, I scooped it all up and knew a “use” for it would come to me!

Although cardboard is such a raw and initially “ugly” material, I like to think that I transform it into something lovely. I paint, stamp, buff, and glaze to turn dull cardboard into shiny, jewel-toned earrings and necklaces. I also love that I am using a material that would have been otherwise sent to the garbage. The stamps I choose are typically detailed, life-like, vintage-inspired images – owls, rabbits, bicycles, and other images that have a classic look.

How did you come about opening your shop?I started making jewelry because I could no longer find in stores what I wanted to buy – I was always on the hunt for big, bold, brightly colored earrings with unique images on them. I began to realize that if I wanted these earrings on my lobes, I was going to have to make them myself. After I made a few pairs for my own personal use, I started to get stopped out in public – I got so much positive feedback and questions about where to buy them that I decided to start an Etsy shop. So far, it’s been a wonderful experience, and I love being a part of the Etsy.com community!

What is your favorite item in your shop?My favorite item at this moment would have to be my Coral Owl earrings – I’m a huge fan of that color right now, and the owl is one of my all-time-favorite stamps. That, and anything with the tandem bicycle on it … I really love that bike …

What is your favorite Etsy shop?So many fabulous artists out there! I don’t think I can choose an all time fave, but I can tell you what store I’ve been pining over most recently – that would have to be LucieEllen (www.etsy.com/shop/lucie0ellen) and her fantastic array of wooden jewelry. I want all of it!

Etsy Shop: Gue Gue Creations

What will I find in your shop?
IIn my shop you will find handmade one of a kind jewelry. I would describe my pieces as eclectic, elegant and versatile. Most of my pieces can be worn to work or out on the town. Quality is important to me; therefore, I create with metals such as 14K Gold Filled, Gold Vermeil and Sterling Silver. Throughout my shop you will find Swarovski Crystals, Freshwater Pearls and Semi-precious Stones brought together using hand knotting and wire wrapping techniques.

How did you come about opening your shop?

After hosting several Jewelry Parties a customer recommended Etsy. I find it's the best medium for reaching national and international markets (the Etsy community is an added bonus).

What is your favorite item in your shop?

Everything in my shop has been created from my heart and soul, I love all the pieces. I would have to select this Lariat necklace as my favorite, www.etsy.com/listing/63755218/lariat-necklace-semi-precious-stones. I love the color combination!

What is your favorite Etsy shop?

II love many shops on Etsy; however, my favorite shop is www.tascha.etsy.com The prints are so vibrant and rich in color. The stories being told in those prints put a smile on my face.

Etsy Shop: The 2 Sisters Shoppe

What will I find in your shop?
We make a variety of things. We have glass & crystal beaded jewelry, kindle cases/sleeves, passport holders, t-shirts, stuffed animals, etc. Both of us have unique tastes and talents, therefore we make a wide range of things. If we want something and can make it for ourselves, we will, and we will probably start making it for the shop.

How did your shop start?

In December 2010 I (Amanda) made a crocheted felted purse for a coworker as a secret santa gift. She kept telling me everyone asked where she got it, so I should start selling them. Then me and my sister (Honey) received kindles from our mom for christmas. The kindle covers online were boring and some of them really expensive. I crocheted and felted each of us a case, and again was told to start selling them. When searching the internet for kindle cases, I had stumbled upon Etsy, so after I made ours we decided to open up a shop. Honey makes the jewelry and I make most of the other items.

What is your favorite item?

Honey's favorite item is www.etsy.com/listing/70192595/purple-swarovski-tier-necklace She recently started branching out in her jewelry and making more intricate pieces. She really loves how this one turned out. One of mine is this www.etsy.com/listing/67745548/punch-you-in-the-face-purple-petal-color shirt. The design was drawn by our brother Vincent and I screen printed it onto the shirt. I think it is fun and full of attitude just like me.

What is your favorite shop?

It is so hard to choose cause there are so many amazing artists and designers on Etsy. If I have to choose one it would probably have to be Darkcycleclothing. I like this shop because they started out small and have built their business into something amazing. Their designs are fun and funky. They are what we aspire to be.

Etsy Shop: Sol9 Designs

What will I find in your shop?At this moment you'll find a collection of accessories made from yarn and other fiber materials in a variety of colors. Everything is handmade with a lot of love and a good story. Stay tuned for the addition of clothing to my collection in the coming months.

How did you come about opening your shop?I finally stopped being a chicken and opened it! I have always had a love for fashion and crafting and have dabbled in the art since I was a little kid, venturing out into designing prom dresses and eventually had my clothing featured in a fashion show. I received a lot of positive feedback and was urged to become a seller. I put this off, out of fear for a long time. But at the beginning of this year, as a part of my quest to eliminate self-inflicted limitations, I decided to open this shop as well as my other shop, www.etsy.com/shop/OBBSTORE

What is your favorite item in your shop?It has to be the Spunky Triband Belt. It's one of the first items I put on Etsy and represents the journey taken to get to where I am today. www.etsy.com/listing/65712656/spunky-triband-belt

What is your favorite Etsy Shop? What? You mean besides my own? Just kidding. I'm impressed by www.etsy.com/shop/skymagenta and would like to get my hands on some yarn from www.etsy.com/shop/MikesTShirtYarn.

Etsy Shop: SQResources

What will you find in my shop? The Etsian shopper will find a variety of quilted wall hangings and hand knit scarves, cowls and collars. My work is inspired by the colors and textures of Southeast Asia so I include materials in my quilting and knitting that reflect the images I’ve captured in my travels to that part of the world. There are also a number of handmade items that I am selling in my shop to support my favorite charity. The bags and head bands have been made by young women in Viet Nam who are learning to sew as part of life skills training provided by Friends For Street Children in Ho Chi Minh City. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of those items goes to FFSC to support their sewing program.

How did you come about opening your shop?I was finding that the pieces that I quilted or knit were done in colors that didn’t always have a recipient in my extended network of family and friends. I was playing with fibers and fabrics to get my color and texture “fix” but not finishing projects as they didn’t have a home. Opening the shop gave me the motivation to finish projects and explore new ideas. Selling my work has also allowed me to support other fiber artists in their endeavors as many of my knit items are from yarns I have found in my favorite Etsy shops.

What is your favorite item in your shop?My favorites are usually the pieces that I am currently working on and not listed yet in the shop. There are about nine scarves in various stages of progress on needles right now. When a new yarn arrives, I just have to play with it to see what it will turn into so lots of items should be posted in the next several weeks. Of the items actually for sale now, I love the bamboo scarf in golds and bronzes and the Squares within Squares quilt

What is your favorite Etsy shop? That’s a hard question since I have found so many favorites as you would see when you check out my shop. Most of my favorites now are either fiber artists who are spinning or dyeing yarns but there are also several that I favorite for their color inspiration. Of all the ones on my list, I would have to narrow it down to allforloveofyarn, kittygrrlz, and yarntopiatreasures. They color my world for me.

Etsy Shop: My Craft Loft

What will I find in your shop?I am very addicted to Kanzashi and cannot stop making them. You will find Kanzashi and other fabric accessories for all ages and styles in my shop. All the items that you see here are made by me during evenings and weekends while I am not at work.
I love working with fabrics. I browse around local fabric stores for no reason. Different color pallets and feel of different textures is a very therapeutic process for me. I also love working with different color combinations. Depending on how I evolve in the future, I will be adding different items into my shop.
Here is a wiki link for Kanzashi, just in case you are curious. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanzashi

How did you come about opening your shop?As much as I love the science and my job (I am a blood banker). I needed to break away from my analytical world and enter into creative world. In my free time, I have always been feeding my creative addiction with a wide variety of projects from sketching fashion illustrations to making my own jewelries and home décor items.
I picked up a book called “Kanzashi in Bloom” and instantly fell in love with that. I have been researching and trying to incorporate that method into my own vision ever since. I cannot stop making them. When I combine my fabric shopping habit to my Kanzashi addiction, I ended up with a living room full of stuff. My poor roommate who is running out of space found out about Etsy from her coworker. I finally decided to take a toll on photography so that I can open my own Etsy shop.
I love every aspect of having my own shop, from showcasing my work to connecting with fellow crafters. Even though I have a hard time promoting my store, I learned so much from this whole experience and met a lot of great fellow Estians during the process.

What is your favorite item in your shop?My favorite item has always changes since I am always experimenting with different materials and methods. For now, my favorite is Eggplant hair clip. Deep purple is my favorite color and I also had a lot of fun trying to figure out a perfect angle for the picture.
What is your favorite Etsy Shop?It is very hard pick a favorite store since there are so many great stores in Etsy. One of the stores that I really really love though is CleanerScience. The concept that you are using bacteria to clean yourself is very amusing. Besides, it reminds me of my Microbiology days when I was a student. Good times!!

Etsy Shop: Sophie Snaps

What will I find in your shop?
I make hair clips, hats, and clip holders for little girls. Each item is one of a kind. I make the clips from fabric yoyos, buttons, felt appliques, ribbon, and beads.

How did you come about opening your shop?

I began by making hair clips for my baby when I realized how much I had been spending on buying clips for her! Soon I realized she had way too many to ever wear, and friends began asking me about buying them. SophieSnaps evolved from there.

What is your favorite item in your shop?

The yoyo clips in general - they are so versatile and fun to work with. I have always loved this one in particular www.etsy.com/listing/65685445/dotty-hair-clip

What is your favorite Etsy Shop?

Do I have to chose just one??! I love MarasFabric for fabric squares to make yoyos. I adore TheTessyTree's necklaces - I just ordered one for my older daughter's birthday! The baby items in VicariousClothing crack me up! And ClaudineMJ is incredibly talented.

Etsy Shop: Heatherlyone

What will I find in your shop?
I currently make jewelry, knit wear and avocado buttons. I always strive to make things out of environmentally friendly & natural materials, and repurpose things wherever possible. I really dig forests and oceans and glaciers so whatever is on my mind at the time will usually come out in my work. Lately Japan has been on my mind with all this tragedy (I used to live there) so I have been making more wooden chiyogami (Japanese paper) earrings. I'll be branching out soon to other avocado things and bags.

How did you come about opening your shop?
It all started with the avocado buttons. I LOVE avocados and I hate waste so it suddenly occurred to me that rather than throwing the pits into the compost bin, I could make them into something that people would love. That, combined with the fact that I had been out of work for a long time and needed to just make things happen for myself was the impetus behind heatherlyone.

What is your favorite item in your shop?
Wow, tough question. I'm partial to a lot of my items but I think the one that speaks to me the most is the Icelandic fairy-flower necklace. I also have a soft spot for the Deep teal blue cowl neck cozy because I just learned how to knit and it was the first one I ever made - and it turned out perfect!

What is your favorite Etsy Shop?
This is the most impossible question because everyday I find new shops that absolutely blow me away. The level of artisanship on Etsy is just so humbling. But for actual purchases I tend to gravitate towards fiber artists such as designsbyamber (www.etsy.com/shop/designsbyamber) and seamstresses that make comfy organic clothing like moonseats (www.etsy.com/shop/moonseats) or joclothing (www.etsy.com/shop/joclothing). It's too much awesome!

Etsy Shop: Jen Doyle Designs

What will I find in your shop?I design and make mostly one of a kind jewelry and hair accessories, and I also make bridal pieces so you will find a mix of both everyday and bridal pieces in my shop. I use quite a few techniques in my work and at the moment I LOVE making beaded flower hairpins so you see lots of those too!

How did you come about opening your shop?Well, I turned what started as a hobby into an official business in Jan 2009 and have built up a good Irish online customer base over the last 2 years. I love all things handmade and discovered Etsy ages ago when looking for a few bits and pieces, and I really like the vibrant Etsy community, and it's international so I figured that it could be a good way to reach a much wider audience for my work. So I took the plunge and opened my Etsy shop at the end of February this year!

What is your favorite item in your shop?It would have to be Karina's Hairvine. That was specially designed for a bride last year and has become one of my most popular pieces. www.etsy.com/listing/67767867/karinas-hairvine

What is your favorite Etsy shop?Ooh, so hard to choose- there are so many fab shops on here but I really like www.etsy.com/shop/spiritofthenorth and alsowww.etsy.com/shop/TianaCHE
